ESG: Corporate, NGOs, and CSR Convergence

IIIT Hyderabad’s the Raj Reddy Center for Technology and Society (RCTS-IIITH), and the Atal Incubation Center (AIC-IIITH), organized a closed-door brainstorming roundtable meeting on, “ESG: Corporates, NGOs, and CSR Convergence” as part of its 2nd Annual Conference on Technology and Society. The objective of this roundtable meeting was to arrive at possibilities and specific suggestions for actions on the overall theme. Help all stakeholders understand the nature and scope of ESG action by Corporates, and also help stakeholders understand how they can partner with Corporates to achieve ESG goals.

Sustain and Support Operating Healthcare Infrastructures to reach the Last Mile

The CPR group and IIITH’s Raj Reddy Center organised a closed door brainstorming roundtable meeting on ‘Sustain and Support Operating Healthcare Infrastructure to the Last Mile’. The objective of this roundtable is to table prevailing challenges, identify gaps and explore possibilities to sustain and support the existing infrastructures through building ICU critical care centers with skilled healthcare frontline workers and other technology powered solutions.

CSR Funding for Social Change

A roundTable meeting on ‘CSR funding for Social Change’ was organised jointly by Hysea CSR group and RCTS, IIITH. Social scientists, Ngos, technologists, research groups, impact funding and CSR organizations deliberated on how emerging technologies can impact and enable rural education and healthcare. The outcome of the roundtable was that the stakeholders define the technology/innovation needs and to discover as well as Identify solution possibilities that can be deployed in the grassroot.

Last mile in healthcare- opportunities, challenges & technologies

The first roundtable on Healthcare was about ‘Technology to Address the Last Mile in Healthcare’. Grassroot healthcare, especially in rural settings, is a hard problem. Even as governments continue to invest in PHCs and other structures, actual on-ground availability of care is very minimal. This roundtable was to table the prevailing challenges, and explore possibilities to build new models and technology-powered-solutions to address this gap in rural healthcare.
